What we collect

SellWhere is designed to work without an account. When you use the photo analysis tool, the photos you upload and any notes you add are sent to an AI service to identify your item and estimate its value. Photos are stored temporarily to provide the analysis and are not used for any other purpose. If you sign up, we store your email address to create your account. If you save comparisons to your history, those comparisons are stored so only you can see them. If you send a message through the contact form, we store the name, email, and message you provide so we can reply.

What we don't collect

We never ask for payment details, addresses, or government IDs. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with data brokers.

Analytics and advertising

We use analytics to understand app usage (for example, how many comparisons are run) and basic measurement tools to see which ads bring people to SellWhere. This data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally. We also run third-party advertising on the site; those providers may use cookies or similar technologies to show you relevant ads. You can control this through your browser settings or your ad preferences on the provider's site.

Cookies and third-party advertising

SellWhere is supported by advertising served by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. We do not receive or store the cookies those vendors set, and we cannot identify you from them.

Your choices about advertising cookies

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time through Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Visitors in the EU, UK and Switzerland are shown a consent prompt before advertising cookies are set and can change that choice afterwards. Blocking cookies in your browser does not stop the comparison tool from working. We never sell your personal data.

Your data and your rights

You can delete your saved comparisons at any time from your Saved History, and you can permanently delete your account and its data from the account settings on the home screen. If you'd like us to delete your account, contact messages, or other data, reach out via the contact form and we'll take care of it.

Children

SellWhere is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and note what changed.
